Doctoral Candidate in Classical Chinese Literature

I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Classical Chinese Literature in the Department of Asian Languages and Literature with a GPA of 3.99. My dissertation focuses on the prose written by three scholars from the late Tang dynasty.

I have received my Master’s Degree in Chinese Languages and Literature from the Department of Asian Languages and Literature with a thesis titled “Understanding ‘Slandering’: A Study of Luo Yin’s Writings of Slandering.”

I have received my Master’s Degree from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies with a thesis studying the new development of the cultural identity of Taiwanese in the contemporary world.

Bachelor of Arts in Chinese (Foreign Culture Management)

I have received my Bachelor’s Degree as the top student of my major (100 students) and participated in an exchange program to Taiwan. My thesis explores the phenomenon of film making of Zhang Ailing’s novels.
